Toronto’s very own Charlotte Day Wilson is a favourite of ours here at TMR. Her previous offering was a stuttering, soulful, ode to a hard day’s work. She returns this week with wonderful news; her debut EP entitled CDW (see what she’s done there?) will see a release on August 26th. Along with this news, she’s unveiled another gorgeous addition to her repertoire - in the shape of new single ‘Find You’. Electronically-twisted piano chords intertwine with sturdy, RnB-inflected percussion - as Day Wilson delivers nothing short of superlative, enchanting vocal performance. “Now that I can see / I can find you” she howls in the chorus.
